About Us
Seagrass Co. was founded by Jason Berrent and Adam Newell, two entrepreneurs with a shared appreciation for wellness, coastal living, and doing things a little differently.
Before launching Seagrass Co., Jason spent more than a decade performing internationally with Cirque du Soleil, following years as an elite competitive athlete. The physical demands of his career eventually led him to explore CBD, sparking an interest that would grow into something much bigger.
Adam, an entertainment host and digital creator, brought his entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision to the company. Together, they saw an opportunity to build a CBD brand that reflected their personal standards and lifestyle.
Now based in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Jason and Adam continue to draw inspiration from the Lowcountry’s natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, and distinctive coastal character.
